You hear a lot of horror stories surrounding wedding planning when it comes to your groom, family, or friends. When I heard about the 3 C rule, it warranted a blog post. What exactly are the 3 C's?
{{ They are Consideration, Communication, & Compromise }}
You need to be considerate of others opinions when it comes to the wedding, even if they are a bit on the crazy side. It doesn't mean you have to take their suggestions, but take consideration of their feelings. Don't say something that might offend or hurt someone, even if you don't agree with their ideas or opinions.
Next is you have to keep a clear communication between you and your vendors. If there is something that you feel you haven't discussed or if you have ANY questions, be clear with your vendors. This could come back to haunt you if you don't.
The last C is compromise, and it is probably one of the most important. Although as a bride, you may feel that this YOUR day, but you can't forget that this is a special day for your groom, and both of your families. Listen to what they have to say, and they may know best. You will feel better on that day if everyone feels as though they belonged.
Don't fall into the "horse and pony show" trap. This is a special day, and you and your groom should enjoy it. Follow these simple steps and you will feel less stressed and everyone will be happy.
Enjoy!
xoxo
